We are getting ready for the National Farm Tour this weekend! Weare going to have the farm open for tours and the farm store also opens this weekend. We are going to have a couple of alpacas that the kids are going to be able to walk around the barn (talk about photo’s)
The store is going to be full of new product of sale. We just got in the hand woven alpaca rugs made with the fleece from are alpacas.
Yes we are still waiting for Gerda to give brith!! She is getting so cranky!! In total we have 7 more due this year.
No farmers maket for us this weekend due to the National Farm Tour. We will be back at the Lyndale market the following weekend.
The new website is getting there, we will be placing the pictures of the new babies on it as soon as thy are born. We will also be getting the store going in the next couple of weeks.
We also have to start bredding females next week so I am going to go and pick up Skye’s the limit this week. He is going to be one busy boy!
Well that all for now, I hope to write again on Thursday
OK this is getting intense! We have seven more babies coming this year and two of the females are over due by a week. Getting up a couples times a night is getting old. My wife (Gina) is off this weekend and I will be at the Lyndale farmers market this weekend, so knowing my luck the babies will be born during the weekend when I am not here.
We will be posting pictures of the babies on our face book page (twisted suri alpaca ranch) as soon as we can.
I need to restock for the farmers market today. We received our shipment of hand-woven rugs made with our alpaca fiber this week, so I will be having some of them at the market.
We will not be at the farmers market the weekend of Sept 25th and 26th. The National Alpaca Farm tour happens that weekend. So please feel free to stop by the farm that weekend and see the babies. We will also be opening up the farm store for the season that weekend, so if you are in need great christmas gifts we have you covered!
I will be writing again soon.
